Alisa Alba.
I’m so glad you’re here. To tell you a little about myself, I’m currently a student majoring in biomedical sciences at the University of Central Florida! I will be the first doctor in my family specifically specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. My goal ultimately is to change the way we all perceive medicine and doctors by creating safe spaces through nonprejudiced and open-minded principles. I believe regardless of who you are everyone is entitled to equal, accessible, and fair care. This change is achievable since I am…WE ARE the next generation of medicine!
About Me
Where it all started
I wasn’t always passionate about revolutionizing the medical field; however, that all changed when I had some rough experiences with my care providers which included body shaming, refusal of care, and even mistreatment. After some deep thought and provoking questions, I decided a change must be made. Now, I know what you’re thinking…if I want to make a change, I must have the experience and knowledge to back up such a bold statement. This site will highlight some of those experiences and the first steps I have taken to become a better leader.
